HOW OUR DESIGN SERVICES WORK
STEP 1: INITIAL DESIGN CONSULTATION
Once you choose any of our design services (excluding Rapid Fire Design) this is the first step to making your perfect room a reality.
We will spend up to 90 minutes with you to understand your design requirements, your ideal budget, your room/space dimensions.
We will show you some Mood Boards and ask you some basic questions to better understand your likes and dislikes so we can better cater to your taste and personality.
As part of this step we'll ask you to send us photographs of your space, dimensions and floor plans.
This is generally a virtual meeting but an in-person consultation can be arranged upon request.
STEP 2: DRAFT LAYOUT AND DESIGNS
This is where we start showing you sample 2D floor and room layouts, design principles and styles, possible colour schemes.
We will also start showing you initial flooring, walls and furniture recommended options and invite you to rate them in order of preference.
By the end of this step you would have made an informed selection about the type of design style you’d prefer, the layout of your room and your room’s colour theme.
This step typically takes 2-3 working meetings to complete.
STEP 3: FINAL DESIGNS AND 3D PLANS
Based on your preferences discussed in step 2 we will now start finalising your designs.
At the end of this step you will be able to visualise your finalised design using our 3D room layout models.
You will also receive your final list of design elements that include

Flooring
-
Wall Paint/Patterns/Wallpaper (as discussed)

Lighting
-
Furniture, Rugs and Accessories
The above list will come with specific links to where you can procure all items.
This step takes roughly 2-3 design meetings.
STEP 4: (OPTIONAL) FITTING & INSTALLATION
If you choose our Fully Fitted Design Service, we will take full responsibility for fitting and installing your entire design to convert it from plans to full reality.
We will bring our team of trusted tradesmen and contractors and meticulously project manage the end to end installation of your design.
This will include the sourcing and procurement of all design elements as well as all build and installation work.
Timelines of this step depends on the size of the project.
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS
POST DESIGN SUPPORT
All our design services benefit from a 4-week post design support period.
During this period we are happy to answer any questions you may have about your agreed designs.
DESIGN UPGRADES
For all our services that are designed to be virtually delivered; we are happy to provide in-person consultation upgrades upon request and an additional fee based on where you are located.
We also take on fully bespoke design and build projects using our network of trusted tradesmen and architects, get in touch to find out more.
ACTIVE COMMUNICATION
Other design firms restrict the number of calls and meetings they provide during the design period; we however don't have any limits.
During the design service period we are happy to take as many calls and answer as many messages as you like.
SUIT YOUR SCHEDULE
We know life can get busy and home designing can take a back-seat.
So although we like to deliver our projects within 3 weeks; we are also happy to work as per your schedule and other commitments.
